Meadowside

Meadowside is a two-bedroom cottage at Borah Farm in Lamorna, a wooded valley running down to a small granite-quayed cove about four miles south of Penzance. It sleeps four across two bedrooms sharing one bathroom; check bed sizes with the provider before booking. The valley was once home to one of Cornwall's leading artists' colonies, led by Samuel "Lamorna" Birch from his base at nearby Flagstaff Cottage.

A private hot tub, a wood burner and a separate open fire give three ways to warm up after a day on the coast path. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a garden and a barbecue are all included. Dogs are not accepted. The cottage is marked as accessible, and guests with specific requirements should confirm the entrance, bathroom and hot-tub route directly.

Lamorna Cove is 800 metres away, with its granite quay and a beach that fills at high tide. Mousehole Beach is 1.9 miles and Penberth Cove is 2.9 miles. The Merry Maidens stone circle, a Bronze Age ring of 19 granite stones, stands half a mile inland.
