Lerryn Lodge

Lerryn Lodge is a two-bedroom riverside lodge for four near Trenewan, a remote hamlet on the south coast about a mile north of Lansallos. One double and one twin bedroom share a bathroom; the open-plan living space has sofas and a Smart TV.

A fenced private deck holds a barbecue, an open-air shower and an outdoor copper bath - a bath rather than a hot tub, worth noting for anyone expecting jets. Wi-Fi, parking, EV charging and a dishwasher are included, and up to three dogs are accepted, with an on-site dog paddock. The property has no confirmed step-free access.

Trenewan sits within the Lanteglos parish, connected to the coast path by quiet lanes, and Lansallos Cove is reached down a steep track cut through rock, its cart ruts still visible from days carrying fish and, tradition says, smuggled goods. The hamlet has no pub, shop or mobile signal - genuinely remote south Cornwall.

Lansallos Beach is 1.9 miles away, Lantic Bay is 2.7 miles, and Readymoney Cove near Fowey is 3.7 miles. Looe is about 7 miles east and Polperro, with limited parking, is roughly 2 miles.

**Best for:** a small family or dog owners wanting a fenced deck, an outdoor copper bath and genuine coastal quiet. **Less good for:** guests wanting a beach within walking distance.
