Lily At Rosehill Lodges

Lily is a recently refurbished lodge at Rosehill Lodges, a small site in a wooded valley near Porthtowan on the north Cornish coast. The lodge sleeps four across two bedrooms - a super king-size room with en-suite and a twin room that can convert to another super king on request - with a second bathroom shared. Woodland views from both rooms.

Outside, a glass-covered veranda leads onto the main decking area, where the private hot tub sits in a sheltered position. A wood burner in the lounge heats the lodge in cooler months. EV charging is available on site - one of relatively few self-catering properties in this part of Cornwall to offer it.

Porthtowan beach and the village pub are 450 metres from the lodge, reached via a footpath through the valley. The beach faces north-west and gets reliable swell throughout the year; the village gastro pub, with outdoor seating, overlooks the sand. Portreath, with its own surf beach and harbour, is 4.5km.

The village's tidal rock pool - known locally as the mermaid pool - is accessible at low tide from the beach. Dolphins, basking sharks and seals have all been recorded in these waters during summer months.
