Linden At Golant

Linden is a two-bedroom cottage in Golant, the quiet estuary village 2 miles north of Fowey town on the River Fowey. The cottage sleeps 4 in a double and a bunk bedroom, with one bathroom. Granite steps lead to the front door, and stairs run down from the living area to both bedrooms and the shower room on the lower ground floor.

Inside, the cottage has a wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and fast wifi. A garden with BBQ and parking are on site. EV charging is available. Three dogs are welcome. The site has a heated indoor pool and sauna, plus an on-site bar open Fridays from March to October - occasionally hosting live entertainment.

Readymoney Cove, the sheltered shingle beach below Fowey, is 2.5 miles away. Fowey itself takes about 40 minutes on foot following the river south through National Trust woodland. The Saints Way footpath between Padstow and Fowey passes through the village. Lantic Bay, a National Trust beach with a steep descent and clear water, is 3.4 miles by road.

Best for families wanting an indoor pool on rainy days. Less good for guests who can't manage stairs, since the bedrooms and shower room are down a flight from the living area, or those who want a traditional village pub on the doorstep - the Fisherman's Arms in Golant is the only local option.
