Lingalonga

Lingalonga is a single-storey, one-bedroom cottage on the Rame Peninsula near Whitsand Bay, sleeping two guests with sea views from inside. It sits on a site shared with individual lodges and beach huts rather than standing alone in its own grounds.

The double bedroom and single bathroom keep the cottage couple-sized. A wood burner heats the living space, and a decked patio garden gives somewhere to sit outside. Wi-Fi, parking and a dishwasher are included, but there is no washing machine and dogs are not accepted, so this suits a shorter, lighter-luggage stay rather than a week with a full laundry load.

Whitsand Bay stretches for roughly three miles along the coast below the cottage, reached by a cliff path 1.2 miles away, and the South West Coast Path along the clifftop offers views out to the Eddystone Lighthouse on a clear day. The path also runs towards Portwrinkle, Downderry and Looe. Cawsand Beach and Kingsand Beach are each 2.5 miles away, and Plymouth is reachable from Cremyll by a passenger ferry.
