Little Beach House

Little Beach House is a ground-floor 1-bedroom annex in Carlyon Bay, east of St Austell, sleeping two adults. The standout feature is a private sauna room - unusual at this price point for a single-bedroom property. The whole annex is on the ground floor, with the double bedroom and shower room opening off the open-plan living area.

Inside, the cottage has one bathroom, a garden with BBQ, wifi, and off-street parking. The interior is compact, designed for two. A pub or shop is within a mile of the annex. Changeover day is Saturday, and Porthpean Beach is 1.4 miles away.

Carlyon Bay beach is roughly 300 metres from the door - a wide sandy arc backed by cliffs. Charlestown harbour, where tall ships are often moored, is about 0.7 miles along the coast and worth the walk for the Georgian quayside architecture. The Eden Project is around 10 minutes east by car, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a similar distance south.

Best for couples or two friends wanting a quiet coastal break with the bonus of a private sauna. Less good for anyone needing space for more than two people. No pets are accepted. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking.
