Little Bolthole is a two-bedroom cottage on the edge of Kilkhampton village in north Cornwall, sleeping 4 across a king-size double and a twin room. The cottage sits within the Penstowe Manor Estate, a National Landscape area, about 5 miles from Bude. Rates from £489 per night. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area has an electric hob and oven, microwave, and fridge. An electric fireplace and Smart TV serve as the main focal points in the sitting area. Two bedrooms are upstairs - the king-size has plenty of hanging space, as does the twin. A family bathroom with shower and WC completes the interior. Boscastle and Tintagel are within 20 miles along the north Cornwall coast.

Best for families or groups wanting a dog-friendly base near Bude, with estate grounds for children and dogs, and easy access to the north Cornwall coast. Less good for guests needing a washing machine on site, a sea-view property, or a walking-distance village location.
