Little Lanes

Little Lanes is a single-storey one-bedroom cottage annexe near Marshgate, sleeping three in one double and a fold-up bed. The whole annexe is on the ground floor, with an open-plan living, kitchen and dining room, a double bedroom and a shower room. A garden and lawn adjoin the property but are shared with the neighbouring holiday property, Underlanes. There is parking for one car. Washing machine included.

Crackington Haven Beach is a short drive away - a dramatic cove with high cliff faces above a sandy beach that draws surfers when swell is running from the north-west. Millook Beach is 5.5 miles and Bossiney Cove 5.5 miles, giving a range of cove options along this stretch of the north Cornwall coast. Boscastle village, with its National Trust visitor centre and rebuilt harbour following the 2004 flood, is about 3.8 miles away.

The shop and pub in the local area are within half a mile. The North Cornwall coast path runs along the clifftops from Crackington Haven in both directions - south towards Bude and north towards Tintagel, the latter around 5 miles and including some of the most vertical sections on the South West Coast Path. Tintagel Castle charges around £15 for adults.

Suits small groups or families of three wanting a single-storey base with beach day access on the north Cornwall coast. Not great for groups needing a dishwasher or more than one bathroom. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking. Saturday changeover.
