Watergate Bay is the nearest beach at 8.8km - a wide sweep of sand with the Extreme Academy watersports centre and a Jamie Oliver restaurant. Whipsiderry Beach is 9.3km, Mawgan Porth 9.8km. The north coast beaches are all within a 15-minute drive. For the south coast, Newquay to Fowey takes around 45 minutes.
