Longships

Longships is a four-bedroom cottage for ten in Rock village. Two bedrooms have super king-size beds, one of which can be arranged as twins. The other two rooms are twins that can each become a king-size when requested. Those bedrooms accommodate eight, with the separate snug's corner sofa providing the additional sleeping places. Four bathrooms give the full group useful capacity.

The open-plan living area includes a feature fireplace, while the snug provides a second place to sit. Wi-Fi and a dishwasher are included. Outside, the south-facing garden has a pergola, rattan seating, dining deck, outdoor sofa and barbecue. A separate utility area and surf store provide practical space, although

St Enodoc Golf Club is 0.5 miles away, and Porthilly Cove is described as a short walk. Daymer Bay Beach is 1.5 miles away, with Greenaway Beach at 1.9 miles. The Rock guide covers more of the village and nearby coast.

Off-road parking is available for two cars, with additional street parking nearby. One dog is accepted. Five reviews give Longships a rating of 5 out of 5. **Best for:** an extended family or mixed group wanting flexible bedrooms, four bathrooms, two living areas and a garden near Rock. **Less good for:** guests needing step-free access, EV charging, a washing machine, a sea view or guaranteed private parking for more than two cars.
