The cottage sleeps 6 across 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, and has an accessible layout throughout - worth noting for groups where step-free access matters. A private paved patio at the rear has space for outdoor seating and a BBQ.

Readymoney Cove is 1km from the cottage - a compact sheltered sandy beach at the southern end of Fowey's estuary mouth, accessible via a footpath that passes St Catherine's Castle. Lantic Bay, a National Trust beach reachable by a coastal path descent, is 1.6km further. The walk between the two takes around 40 minutes and covers some of the area's most varied coastal scenery.

Polruan itself has a pub, a shop, and a foot ferry running year-round to Fowey - roughly 5 minutes across the water. Fowey has a wider range of restaurants, galleries, and the Daphne du Maurier Literary Festival each May.

Ideal for families or small groups wanting coastal access with accessible facilities and an estuary setting. Works for walkers tackling the south Cornwall coast path. Less good for guests needing dog-friendly accommodation - none here. Parking and garden on site, Saturday changeover.
