The apartment is well-equipped for a couple settling in for a week: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, parking, and a private garden. No dogs accepted. The layout is compact but includes everything for a full week's stay without needing to eat out every night - a real saving when St Ives restaurant prices run high in July and August.

Carbis Bay beach is a sheltered, south-facing bay with gentle water and Blue Flag status - notably calmer than the Atlantic-exposed north coast beaches. St Ives is approximately 1.2 miles west, reachable on foot along the coast path in around 25 minutes, or by the St Ives branch line railway in a single stop from Carbis Bay station. The Tate St Ives gallery, the harbour, and the town's restaurants are all accessible without a car. Porthkidney Beach, a wide and usually uncrowded stretch of sand, is 1.2 miles east along the dunes toward the Hayle estuary.

Best for couples who want genuine beach proximity and car-free access to St Ives without the noise and parking pressure of staying in the town centre. Less good for dog owners, families with children, or anyone needing two bedrooms.
