Manor Farmhouse Cottage

Manor Farmhouse Cottage is a one-bedroom property in Little Beside near St Day, sleeping 2 with 1 bathroom, a garden, a BBQ area, and EV charging on site. The village of St Day sits on the ridge between Redruth and Chasewater - part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site landscape, marked by engine houses and spoil heaps on the surrounding hills. Redruth is around 4 miles west.

Portreath Beach on the north Cornwall coast is 5.3 miles away - a sheltered sandy beach at the foot of a narrow cove, with a harbour wall, a surf hire shop, and a beachfront cafe. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes, a compact beach popular with surfers at 5.5 miles, is roughly the same distance. Both are reached via the B3300 and the St Agnes road.

St Agnes itself is around 5 miles north-west, with a well-regarded pub, independent shops, and access to the South West Coast Path including the Trevaunance headland walk with views back over the cove. Truro is roughly 10 miles east for city amenities including the main rail hub.

Suits couples wanting a quiet rural mid-Cornwall base with EV charging and a mix of heritage landscape and coastal access within short driving distance. Works for cyclists - the area has several quiet lanes connecting mining villages to the coast. Not great for guests needing beach access without a car, or those wanting a seaside location. Saturday changeover.
