Maple

Maple is a three-bedroom cottage on the Pennance Farm development at Goldenbank, on the southern edge of Falmouth. The property sits within walking distance of three beaches - Swanpool (800 metres), Maenporth (0.8 miles), and Gyllyngvase (1 mile) - making it a practical base for families who want sand and sea without relying on the car.

The ground floor has a kitchen and a living/dining room. Upstairs, the three bedrooms include two king-size rooms and a single. One king-size has an en-suite walk-in shower, and there is a separate bathroom with shower over bath plus a cloakroom on the ground floor. A Smart TV with DVD player and WiFi are provided, along with a selection of books, games, and DVDs.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. At the rear, a decked balcony has a table, chairs, and barbecue. Off-road parking accommodates two cars. Two dogs are welcome for an additional weekly charge.

Falmouth itself is about a mile north, with the National Maritime Museum on the waterfront, a university campus, and a year-round programme of festivals. Swanpool Beach, the nearest, is a sheltered crescent next to a nature reserve lake - calm water and good for swimming. Maenporth is a south-facing cove popular with kayakers.
