Ash Barn

The garden is what sets Ash Barn apart. It is large and enclosed, with a lawn, two decking areas, outdoor furniture and a barbecue, and guests get private access onto the golf course it sits within. The house is on the coastal footpath at Falmouth Golf Club, two miles from the centre of Falmouth, and sleeps five.

Inside, the kitchen, dining and sitting areas share one open-plan space. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and the TV comes with Sky. There are two bedrooms, a king-size and a family room with a double and a single bed. A bathroom with bath and shower over is joined by a separate shower room with a walk-in shower. Gas central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. A highchair is available, and a travel cot too, though its linen is not provided.

Two well-behaved, medium-size dogs over 12 months old are welcome, with a supplement per pet. Parking covers two cars, one immediately opposite the house and one in the communal car park. The nearest shop is a mile away and the pub 1.8 miles. Swanpool, Gyllyngvase and Maenporth beaches are close by.

Bookings start on a Friday or a Monday, and other changeover days need the owner's approval. The property asks anyone wanting less than seven nights to contact the local office. It is non-smoking, a small building in the garden is for owner use only, and there is a Ring doorbell. Ash Barn suits a family of five or two couples with dogs, and is ideal for golfers.
