Minerva Guesthouse

Minerva Guesthouse occupies a Victorian terrace on The Crescent in central Newquay, directly overlooking Towan Beach from 100m away. Rooms face the bay, with the putting green and promenade visible below. Free WiFi is included, and the guesthouse runs a games room - a practical option when the weather turns. No parking on site, but Towan car parks are a few minutes on foot.

Towan Beach is the main town beach, patrolled in season and backed by cafes and the iconic suspension footbridge. Great Western Beach is 500 metres further along the headland, and Tolcarne Beach, calmer and popular with families, is under 0.6 miles. Towan Beach sits at the base of the headland, and the rock stack with its beach house on top is visible from the guesthouse windows. Blue Reef Aquarium is a 3-minute walk, and the harbour fish market is roughly 10 minutes on foot.

Fistral Beach, where the English National Surfing Championship has been held annually since the 1980s, is about 0.6 miles from The Crescent. The town centre has two supermarkets, independent restaurants, and a twice-hourly bus connection to Truro and Bodmin.

Ideal for families or couples who want a seafront location without paying for a hotel, with easy access to both town amenities and multiple beaches. Not suitable for guests who need on-site parking or a self-catering setup.
