Miramar

Miramar is a four-bedroom detached house in Carbis Bay, sleeping eight in three king-size rooms and one twin - each with its own en-suite across five bathrooms in total. Off-road parking for four cars and a private hot tub in an enclosed rear garden make it practical for a group of friends or two families travelling together.

The house is dog-friendly and has a garden. Wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine are included. Saturday changeover.

Carbis Bay beach is 300 metres on foot - a sheltered south-facing arc of sand that stays relatively calm when the Atlantic swell hits Porthmeor. Porthminster Beach is 1 mile and St Ives harbour beach 1.1 miles, both reachable on foot along the coast path without needing a car. St Ives itself, with the Tate gallery above Porthmeor and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden in town, is a 25-minute walk or a short train ride from Carbis Bay station.

The Carbis Bay to St Ives coastal path takes around 25 minutes on foot and avoids the road entirely.

Best for groups wanting beach access within walking distance and a hot tub for evenings. Less good for anyone seeking a remote rural setting - Carbis Bay is suburban, and summer traffic on the A3074 can be slow.
