Nana's House

Nana's House is an end-terrace cottage in Marazion, sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms, with a dog-friendly beach just 100 yards from the front door. St Michael's Mount - the National Trust island castle connected by a granite causeway at low tide - dominates the view from the shoreline.

Inside, the ground-floor open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining area and lounge. A walk-in shower room sits on the ground floor. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin, served by a cloakroom with basin. The cottage has electric storage heating and comes with a washing machine and dishwasher. One small dog is welcome downstairs. Note that the stairs are narrower and steeper than average.

Garage parking takes one vehicle up to 195cm in height. A garden provides outdoor space within the town. Marazion Beach is 300 metres away - a golden, sandy stretch with views across to the Mount. Long Rock Beach, dog-friendly year-round, is 1.4 miles west along the coast.

Marazion's main street runs along the seafront with cafes, galleries and independent shops. Penzance is 2 miles west, putting the far west of Cornwall - the Lizard, Land's End and St Ives - within easy reach. The Marazion Marsh RSPB reserve, where bitterns first bred in Cornwall in 2023, backs the town.
