Newquay Bay Resort

Newquay Bay Resort sits on Trevelgue Road at Porth, on the north Newquay coast. The park has an on-site swimming pool, making it one of the few self-catering options in the Newquay area where swimming is available without leaving the site.

Whipsiderry Beach is 900m away - a compact cove below the cliffs at Porth, accessible via a steep path and popular with families at low tide. Watergate Bay is 0.7 miles, a long exposed surf beach with a hotel and beach bar on the sand. Tolcarne Beach is 1.6 miles, closer to Newquay town centre. The resort sits between the town and Porth, meaning beaches in both directions are within easy reach.

Units are sold individually rather than as one property, so sleeping capacity, layout and what is included vary between lodges - check the specific unit before booking. Wi-Fi, parking and dogs are covered across the park.

Porth itself has a sheltered beach that empties out at low tide, and Trevelgue Head, the Iron Age promontory fort reached by a footbridge from the sand, sits at its northern end. The South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs in both directions from there, which makes the park a workable base for walking as well as beach days.

Right for larger families or two families travelling together who want a pool on-site and multiple beaches nearby without driving far. Not great for couples or guests wanting a quiet rural setting, since this is a busy park with shared facilities and other guests around.
