Newtrain Bay

Newtrain Bay sits on Atlantic Bays Holiday Park, 1.9 miles from St Merryn, and is laid out on a single floor.

You walk straight into the open-plan living area, where a sitting area, a fitted kitchen and a foldaway dining table share the room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge. A TV with Freeview, a DVD player, DVDs, books and a selection of games are provided, which suits a family games night. The lodge has two bedrooms, a double and a bunk room with a double below and a single above, and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. Electric central heating is fitted. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included.

There is a patio area with furniture and off-road parking. The park allows one vehicle per booking and does not permit commercial vehicles. WiFi is available by signing in at reception, though coverage can be intermittent. Children under twelve have a play zone and a large field for football, and adults have the marquee bar. A shop and pub are 0.7 miles away and the nearest beach is 2.9 miles.

Best for families or friends travelling together who want everything on one level. It is less good for anyone with a dog, since pets are not allowed, and smoking is not permitted.
