Northcott Mouth Beach is 5.1km away, another quiet stretch of National Trust coastline accessible on foot from the cliff path.

Kilkhampton is a traditional north Cornwall village with a pub and a medieval church with one of the longest barrel-vaulted ceilings in the county. The village also has a post office and a local store. Bude, with its surf shops, restaurants, and canal walks, is a short drive to the south-west.

Suits couples and small families of up to 4 who want a quiet base with sea views and easy access to a string of less commercial north Cornwall beaches. Less good for guests who need to be within walking distance of a beach or who require a dishwasher or washing machine. Changeover is Saturday.
