Padstow's harbour has working fishing boats alongside Rick Stein's original restaurant on the quay, Paul Ainsworth's No. 6 on Middle Street, and several fish mongers. The Camel Trail starts here and runs 17 miles to Bodmin along the old railway line. Daymer Bay is 2.4km across the estuary, and Trevone Bay is 2.7km north along the coast.
