Ocean Cottage

Ocean Cottage is a two-bedroom property in Kilkhampton, a small village a few miles inland from the north Cornwall coast near Bude. It sleeps 5 across a super-king and single bedroom, with a second additional bed available when needed. The open fire provides warmth through cooler months, and the sun room adds a lighter space in summer. An enclosed rear garden and off-road parking round out the practical setup.

Two dogs are welcome, making this a reasonable base for guests travelling with pets. The garden is enclosed, which matters when dogs are part of the group.

Sandymouth Beach is 4.9km away - a National Trust beach in a steep valley, with a seasonal cafe and rock pools at low tide. Duckpool Beach is 5km north, a smaller cove accessible via a narrow lane. Both give good coastal access without requiring a drive into Bude town centre.

Wi-Fi, dishwasher, and washing machine are included. No hot tub or EV charging.

Ideal for small families or a group of friends wanting a quiet rural base with beach access across the Bude coastline. Less good for guests expecting a sea view or a property within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Saturday changeover.
