Padstow Treetops

Padstow Treetops is a one-bedroom lodge set in woodland on the edge of Padstow, sleeping two in a double room with one shower room. A footpath from the property leads to Padstow harbour, 2 miles away, where the town's fish restaurants and independent shops line the quayside. The Camel Trail also starts from Padstow, following the estuary 18 miles to Bodmin.

Three beaches sit within a short drive: Trevone Bay at 2.9km, Daymer Bay at 3.9km, and Harlyn Bay at 4.1km. The surrounding area has seven dog-friendly bays, and one dog is permitted at the property. A BBQ and garden complete the outdoor space.

The north Cornish coast road opens up Port Isaac, around 12km north-east, with its narrow streets and working harbour. Tintagel, with the castle ruins above the sea, is around 22km. Several National Trust properties and gardens are reachable as half-day trips.

The lodge shares the site with two other lodges but is positioned for privacy within the tree cover.

Good for couples wanting a woodland retreat with easy town access on foot and beaches within 10 minutes by car. Best for those who want a calm, contained base rather than a lively village location.
