Pennycrocker Swallows Rest

Pennycrocker Swallows Rest is a one-bedroom barn conversion for two near Minster and St Juliot, an inland parish half a mile east of Boscastle in the wooded Valency valley. The bedroom has a super-king bed, and there is one bathroom for both guests.

Exposed beams and slate floors retain original character, while a wood burner provides the fire. Sea and countryside views extend across a 60-acre setting with garden access. WiFi and parking are included, and host Anna manages the booking. Dogs are not accepted, and there is no dishwasher, washing machine or EV charging point.

Walking and cycling are described from the doorstep, with the South West Coast Path and Boscastle, home to a narrow harbour and the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, named within walking distance. Bodmin Moor, the Camel Trail, Port Isaac and Bude are suggested for driving trips, without times.
