A four-bedroom penthouse apartment perched directly above the Cove Bar and Restaurant at Maenporth, with sea views across the bay. Sleeps eight across four bedrooms and two bathrooms - one of the few sleeps-eight options on the cove itself, 1.5 miles south of Falmouth.

The upper-floor layout puts the kitchen and living areas on the view, looking south over the sand. Four bedrooms share two bathrooms - tight for eight adults but workable for a family. Wifi, dishwasher and washing machine are included. Sitting above a working restaurant means the occasional weekend hum from the bar below; total quiet at night isn't guaranteed.

Outside, private parking and an EV charging point come with the apartment, plus full use of the Maenporth Estate's leisure facilities - indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna and jacuzzi. There's a shared garden across the estate grounds.

The beach is at the foot of the building, the South West Coast Path runs the cliffs in both directions, and the Cove Restaurant is a one-minute walk down the stairs. The Helford River, Trebah Garden and Glendurgan are 2-3 miles south. Falmouth's harbour, Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum sit 1.5 miles north. At GBP 1,082/week off-peak that's roughly GBP 19/night per person sleeping eight.

Best for larger families or two couples sharing who want sea views and dinner on the doorstep. Less good for light sleepers - bar noise carries on Friday and Saturday nights.
