Pit Paddy Barn

Pit Paddy Barn sleeps four in a ground-floor main bedroom and an adjoining twin. It is a barn conversion on an organic working farm in Cusgarne, near Perranarworthal. The main bedroom has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, a free-standing bath, a basin and a WC, and the bath is a deep one.

The twin room opens off the main bedroom, so anyone sleeping there walks through it to reach the bathroom. That arrangement shapes who should book. The barn is ideal for a couple with young children or two close friends, and less good for two adults who want separate space.

Living, cooking and dining share one open-plan room with exposed beams, Velux windows and a woodburning stove. Fuel, a starter pack and power are included, and heating is central and underfloor. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer, and there is a Smart TV, WiFi and a selection of books and games. Bed linen and towels are included, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, guests share a rear courtyard, orchards and gardens with furniture. Parking is off-road for one car, and a second may be possible on request. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There is no smoking, and no changeovers on a Sunday. The pub is 0.3 miles away, the farm shop 0.6 miles and Truro 6.5 miles. Two neighbouring barns can be booked with it for up to 14 guests together.
