Stribleys Barn

Two super-king-size bedrooms make Stribleys Barn a straightforward fit for two couples. It is a barn conversion on an organic working farm in the hamlet of Cusgarne, near Perranarworthal, and it sleeps four. One bedroom has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, and the other uses a separate shower room with a heated towel rail.

The living, kitchen and dining room is one open space with a woodburning stove, and fuel, a starter pack and power are included in the rent. Glass archway windows and exposed beams run through the barn, and a conservatory adds a second place to sit. Heating is central and underfloor. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster, and there is a Smart TV, WiFi and a selection of books and games. Bed linen and towels are included.

Outside, guests share a rear courtyard with orchards and gardens and outdoor furniture. There is off-road parking for one car, and a second may be possible if you ask beforehand. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The barn is non-smoking, and changeovers are not offered on a Sunday. The farm shop is 0.6 miles away, the pub 0.3 miles and Truro 6.5 miles.

Stribleys Barn can be booked with Coombe Barn and Pit Paddy Barn on the same farm, for up to 14 guests together. On its own it suits two couples or friends sharing, each pair with a super-king bed.
