Plover Cottage

Plover Cottage is a one-bedroom stone cottage in the rural hamlet of Trenale, about half a mile from Tintagel on the North Cornwall coast. It forms part of a small group of eight converted properties arranged around a landscaped courtyard, each with its own private outdoor space.

Inside, the layout is geared to couples: a double bedroom, a compact living space and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. Stone walls and original features give the cottage character, while the courtyard setting keeps it quiet.

Guests have use of a private enclosed garden and a shared recreational paddock, which makes a useful exercise area for dogs. Private parking is on site. Bossiney Cove Beach is the nearest stretch of sand at around 1 km, with Tregardock Beach roughly 5 km away and Port Gaverne Beach about 10 km down the coast.

Tintagel village, with its shops, pubs and medieval castle ruins, is less than a 5-minute drive. The South West Coast Path and the wooded Rocky Valley sit within easy walking distance, and the National Trust harbour at Boscastle lies about 2.5 miles further up the coast.
