Riverview @ 1 Brunel View

Riverview at 1 Brunel View is an adult-only, one-bedroom cottage in Saltash accommodating 2 guests in a super-king bedroom. The ground floor is open-plan, with an induction-hob kitchen and a sitting area. The rear garden is enclosed. Dogs are not accepted. Off-road parking is included.

The property looks toward the river and Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge, which carries the main rail line between Plymouth and Cornwall. Saltash station is a short walk, connecting directly to Plymouth in around 10 minutes, and to Truro and the far west of Cornwall on the main line.

Kingsand Beach is 5.4 miles by road - a historic fishing village beach on the Rame Peninsula, with an unusual double village of Kingsand and Cawsand worth exploring on foot. Cawsand Beach is 5.6 miles away. Whitsand Bay, the long Atlantic-facing stretch of sand, is 5.8 miles.

This works well for couples who want a rail-connected base with access to both Plymouth and Cornwall without needing a car every day.

Less suited to families - this is an adult-only property, and the nearest beaches require a 15 to 20-minute drive. Changeover is Friday. The property sits on Old Ferry Road, reflecting Saltash's history as a crossing point on the Tamar long before the bridge and tunnel were built.
