Riviere House

Riviere House is a five-bedroom house in the Hayle area, with the town 3.1 miles away, and it sleeps ten. The super-king-size bedroom has an en-suite with a bath and shower over it. The others are a king-size, a ground-floor king-size, a twin that can be zipped and linked into a king-size on request, and a second twin, and every bedroom has a TV. A bathroom with a rainfall shower and a ground-floor shower room bring the total to three bathrooms; note the step up into the ground-floor shower.

The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, a range, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a separate fridge, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, and the house also has a utility, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are included, along with bed linen and towels. Two travel cots and two highchairs can be provided.

Outside, the enclosed garden holds a hot tub, furniture, sun loungers, a meadow and communal play equipment for children. There is also a pizza oven. The external games room has a dart board and a pool table. Parking is ample and off-road. The nearest shop is 2.4 miles away and the pub 1.5 miles. A pond on the grounds means children must be supervised at all times.

Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Check-in is from 4:30pm and check-out is at 10am. The house suits two families or friends sharing ten places, and is best for groups with dogs and children who want outdoor space; it is less good for anyone who prefers to avoid a step up into the ground-floor shower.
