Marazion Beach and St Michael's Mount are 3.5km away - the causeway to the Mount is tidal and accessible on foot at low water, otherwise there are regular small ferries. Perranuthnoe Beach, a National Trust-backed cove with a clifftop cafe, is 4.6km east. St Ives, with the Tate gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, is a 20-minute drive north.

Best for: couples or a family of four wanting rural quiet with the Penwith coast within easy reach. Less good for: guests expecting to walk to the beach - the Rosevidney location is genuinely rural and a car is essential for daily use.
