Marazion Beach is 400m away. The tidal causeway to St Michael's Mount opens at low tide for walkers, and the ferry runs when the causeway is covered. Long Rock Beach is 2km east along the coast. Penzance, with its rail station, ferries to the Isles of Scilly, and market town facilities, is a short drive west.

Best for couples or small families of up to 4 who want a coastal position with easy beach access and views as part of the daily experience. The proximity to St Michael's Mount makes it an obvious choice for visitors who haven't been before - the Mount is one of the best-known landmarks in Cornwall and worth at least half a day. Suits those travelling with a dog and needing reliable parking. Less good for groups needing more than 2 bedrooms or for visitors who prioritise surf beaches, as Marazion is sheltered and calm rather than exposed. Not suitable for anyone with mobility constraints, as the road to the beach involves some slope.
