Rowena

Rowena is a three-bedroom cottage in Mullion, on the western edge of the Lizard, sleeping six across two bathrooms. Sea views are a feature of the property, which comes with access to a heated swimming pool - uncommon at this price point on the Lizard. EV charging is on-site, and dogs are welcome.

The cottage has wi-fi, parking, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. No garden, but the pool terrace compensates in warmer months. Friday changeover.

Mullion Cove Beach is 300m away - a compact sandy cove with a historic National Trust harbour built from granite in the 1890s. Polurrian Beach, a broader north-facing beach with good surf, is 700m. Poldhu Cove is 1.2 miles and popular with families. For a wider evening out, Helston is 7 miles north and Falmouth is 14 miles.

The Lizard as a whole is one of the least developed stretches of the Cornish coast - National Landscape status means hotel and resort development has been limited, so independent cottages like Rowena form most of the accommodation stock.

Best for groups of six looking for sea views with a pool, close to two distinct beaches. Less good for families who need a large garden or want a lively village on the doorstep - Mullion is a quiet working village rather than a tourist hub.
