Villa 1

Villa 1 is a three-bedroom property at the Polurrian on the Lizard hotel complex in Mullion. It sleeps six guests across three bedrooms with two bathrooms, useful for a family or two couples sharing.

The open-plan living area leads onto a balcony with sea views over the coast. Guests have access to the hotel's heated indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and tennis court, all shared facilities rather than private to the villa. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and a private garden are included at the villa itself. Dogs aren't accepted here, so this suits guests without pets. Changeover day is Saturday.

The hotel setting puts leisure facilities and the beach at the centre of a stay rather than a standalone cottage feel. Kynance Cove is about 8 miles south along the coast, a worthwhile day trip for the wider Lizard peninsula.

Polurrian Beach is only 200 metres away, Mullion Cove Beach is about 900 metres from the villa, and Poldhu Cove is roughly 0.9 miles further along the coast road. The Mullion guide covers the village and this stretch of the Lizard in more depth.

**Best for:** a family or group wanting pool, gym and spa access within a short walk of the beach.

**Less good for:** dog owners, or anyone requiring a confirmed bedroom arrangement.
