Sandplace

Sandplace is a top-floor apartment in Looe for four guests. One king-size bedroom and one double share a single bathroom, an arrangement that suits a family, two couples comfortable sharing facilities, or a pair wanting extra space. Its elevated position brings sea and river views over the estuary.

A garden, BBQ, WiFi, parking, dishwasher and washing machine are all included. Dogs are not accepted. The second bedroom is a double with views over the harbour, and a shared patio one flight down has a table and chairs labelled for the apartment. As a top-floor apartment with no lift confirmed, guests who cannot manage stairs should look elsewhere.

East Looe Beach is 200 metres away, a stretch of sand sheltered by the harbour walls that suits families. Hannafore Beach, known for some of the best rock pools in Cornwall, is 800 metres from the apartment, and Plaidy Beach is 0.9 miles away along the coast path towards Seaton. The working harbour, with its fish restaurants and independent shops, is also within walking distance.

**Best for:** Couples or a small family wanting coastal views, laundry facilities and East Looe Beach within 200 metres.

**Less good for:** Dog owners, guests needing lift-confirmed access, or anyone wanting two bathrooms.
