Sleeps 3 2 beds 1 bath

sea views near Whipsiderry Beach

This two-bedroom cottage sits on the clifftop at Porth, a quiet residential pocket between Newquay and the cliffs north of town. The balcony looks out toward Watergate Bay; on a clear day you can see several miles of North Cornwall coast. A double and a single bedroom share one bathroom, sleeping three in a compact but well-equipped space.

Whipsiderry Beach is 700 metres down the lane - a narrow cove backed by red sandstone cliffs that stays quieter than the Newquay town beaches even in August. The South West Coast Path runs along the clifftop, giving direct access to the 1.9 miles walk south into Newquay or north toward Watergate Bay. The garden is enclosed and dog-friendly; one dog is welcome.

Tolcarne Beach is 0.7 miles further along the coast path. Great Western Beach adds another 400 metres beyond that. Newquay town centre, with its range of restaurants, surf hire shops, and the Blue Reef Aquarium, sits a short drive away. This is a practical base for those who want a coastal path on the doorstep and a beach within 10 minutes' walk.

Ideal for couples or a small family of three, or two adults with a dog. Less good for anyone needing more than one bathroom or expecting a large living space.
