Sea Holly

Sea Holly is a three-bedroom cottage in Padstow for five guests. One king-size room, one twin and one single give each member of the group a defined bed, though all five share a single bathroom, the main compromise at full capacity. The single bedroom, with a TV, is on the ground floor, while the king-size, also with a TV, and the twin are on the first floor beside the bathroom. Padstow Quay is half a mile away.

The interiors use a palette of soft shades, and a sun deck outside is set up for outdoor dining. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher, washing machine and garden are all included, and up to two dogs can stay.

Trevone Bay is 1.7 miles away, Daymer Bay Beach 1.9 miles and Greenaway Beach 2.3 miles from the cottage. St George's Cove is closer still, about 0.9 miles away. Padstow's working harbour sits on the west bank of the Camel Estuary, with Rick Stein's original seafood restaurant among several of his establishments in town, and the Camel Trail cycle path runs 18 miles inland to Bodmin for a flatter day out on bikes.

**Best for:** a family wanting three bedrooms, a garden, sun deck, parking and room for two dogs close to Padstow. **Less good for:** a full group of five wanting more than one bathroom, EV drivers, or anyone needing verified step-free access.
