Sea Holly is a single-storey 1-bedroom cottage in Carbis Bay, sleeping 2 guests in 1 bathroom. The fully level layout means no steps inside or out, with an enclosed garden to the rear. The garden has a BBQ for outdoor cooking in the summer months. Wifi, parking, and a washing machine are included. Changeover is on Fridays.

Carbis Bay sits about 800 metres from the cottage - a sheltered, south-facing sandy beach that tends to be calmer than the surf beaches north of St Ives. The water here is suitable for paddling and swimming, and the beach is well-served by the Carbis Bay Hotel beach club for refreshments. Porthkidney Beach is 1.3km further along the estuary edge - a quiet stretch that most visitors miss.

St Ives is roughly a mile along the coast path or a single stop on the St Ives branch line, which runs from Carbis Bay station through to St Erth. The Tate St Ives, the harbour galleries, and the town's restaurants are all accessible without a car. Parking is included at the cottage, which is a significant practical advantage in an area where kerbside parking is difficult in summer.

Ideal for couples who want a quiet Carbis Bay base with easy access to St Ives. Suits those who prefer a non-driving day out along the branch line. Less good for guests who need more than 1 bedroom or want to bring a dog.
