Sea Horizon View is a 2-bedroom duplex on The Strand in Bude town centre, sleeping 4 with 1 bathroom, set over two floors. The duplex is 500 metres from Summerleaze Beach - one of the closer central Bude options for a beach stay on foot. The front door opens onto a staircase up to the first-floor sitting room, with the double and twin bedrooms on the same floor, and a back staircase leads down to the kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor.

The duplex includes WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The nearest public car park is Summerleaze, a two-minute walk away, where seasonal charges apply; free parking is available from 5pm to 10am, first come first served. A shop and pub are within 0.1 miles. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The washing machine and the included stair gate are practical extras for a family stay.

Summerleaze Beach is Bude's main family beach - a wide sandy stretch with a tidal sea pool cut into the rock, free to use year-round and refilled by each tide. Crooklets Beach, the main surf spot used by the Bude Surf Life Saving Club, is 0.6 miles north along the clifftop path. The Bude Canal runs inland from the sea lock and is popular for kayaking and flat-water cycling - the towpath south to Helebridge is 4 miles return. Bude has a Sainsbury's, independent shops, and several cafes around the canal basin within a 10-minute walk.

Best for couples and small families wanting a central Bude base within easy walking distance of the beach. Not suited to guests who need step-free access, as the apartment is reached up a staircase from the front door. Less suited to those wanting a quieter rural location - The Strand is a residential terrace in the town centre with street noise at peak times.
