Sea Pinks

Sea Pinks is a 1-bedroom cottage in Looe, on Lower Market Street, sleeping 2 guests in 1 bathroom. The property spans three narrow floors with a reverse-level layout: the double bedroom with en-suite sits on the first floor, and the sitting area and second shower room occupy the upper floor. Stairs are steep throughout - this is a genuinely vertical property, typical of Looe's older town-centre buildings. Wifi and a garden are included. Parking is available in the nearby Pay and Display car park. Changeover is Saturday.

East Looe Beach is 200 metres from the door - a broad sandy beach that fills quickly in summer but empties out of peak season. Hannafore Beach is 900 metres around the headland, a quieter shingle and sand mix facing west over the estuary. The Looe Island nature reserve is visible from Hannafore, about a mile offshore. East Looe itself has fish-and-chip shops, pubs, and fresh seafood direct from the quay throughout the season.

Looe is also a working fishing port, so the quayside is active early in the morning. The town has good independent cafes, a small museum, and a regular bus connection to Liskeard for the mainline railway.

Best for a couple who want a central Looe position within a short walk of the beach, shops, and restaurants. Less good for guests with mobility issues, given the steep internal stairs and the hillside nature of the town.
