Seacrest Cottage

Seacrest Cottage is a single-storey 2-bedroom cottage in Mawgan Porth, sleeping 3 across 1 double and 1 single bedroom with 1 bathroom. Sea views and a wood burner are among the standout features, and Mawgan Porth beach is about 600 metres down the road - a wide north-facing bay with surf, rock pools, and RNLI lifeguard cover in summer.

The cottage has a private garden with both lawn and patio sections, well positioned for the sea views. One dog is welcome. Parking, wifi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are included.

The South West Coast Path runs through the village, with Bedruthan Steps about 1 mile north along the cliffs - a line of sea stacks visible from the cliff top that also holds Dark Sky Discovery status for stargazing. Watergate Bay is roughly 2 miles south, with Extreme Academy surf and kitesurfing lessons on the sand. Newquay is about 6 miles south for a wider choice of restaurants and surf hire shops. The Scarlet Hotel, an adults-only eco-hotel with a clifftop natural pool, is a short walk north along the coast.

**Best for:** Couples or a parent with one child who want sea views, a wood burner, and a dog-friendly cottage close to a surf beach. Good off-season value for two given the views and setting.

**Less good for:** Groups of more than 3, anyone needing two full-size beds for adults, or families expecting a large garden play space - the garden is long and narrow.
