Seagulls Nest

Seagulls Nest is a second-floor studio apartment in St Ives sleeping 2, with bed, kitchen, and living space in a single open room. Access requires 12 external steps followed by 12 internal stairs, making it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. No parking is available - the location is walkable to everything, but a car needs to be left in one of the town's pay-and-display car parks. Dogs are not accepted.

WiFi is included and changeover day is Friday. The apartment suits guests who spend most of their time outside - the single-room layout is compact but functional for 2 people over a short stay.

Porthgwidden Beach is about 100 metres away - a sheltered cove tucked between the Island headland and the harbour, with a café above the beach and calm water suited to families. Porthmeor Beach is around 400 metres in the other direction, on the Atlantic-facing side of the headland and the main surf spot in town. The harbour, Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, and the main cluster of galleries and independent shops are all within a few minutes on foot.

Best for: couples wanting to be based in the heart of St Ives without a car, close to the galleries, harbour, and two beaches. Less good for: anyone with mobility issues, dog owners, families needing separate sleeping areas, or those arriving by car and expecting parking.
