Seahorses

Seahorses is a two-bedroom first-floor apartment sleeping four in Mawgan Porth on the north Cornwall coast, midway between Newquay and Padstow. The apartment was converted from a former detached house into one of four units, with sea views and direct access onto the South West Coast Path.

Inside, sleeping is arranged across a double and a twin room. The apartment sits in an elevated position above the cove, giving views over the coastline, and pets are welcome throughout the stay. Parking is included.

Outside, access to the coast path starts immediately. Mawgan Porth beach sits 300m away, a two-minute walk down from the apartment, and welcomes families and dogs. Bedruthan Steps, with its rock stacks rising from the sand, lies 1.8km north, and Watergate Bay - a wide surf beach - is 3.3km south along the coast path.

The village has a pub, newsagent, and small store, five minutes' walk down the beach or half a mile by road. Padstow is eight miles and Newquay six miles for a wider choice of shops and restaurants. The Scarlet Hotel is along the road with a day spa and restaurant open to non-residents, and Mawgan Porth golf and country club is a couple of minutes' drive.
