Shells Cottage is a single-storey, two-bedroom property at Millendreath Holiday Village near Looe, sleeping 4 with 1 bathroom. The cottage has both a terrace and a garden, with sea views from the outdoor space - a feature that distinguishes it from the many inland options in the village. Dogs are welcome.

Plaidy Beach is 400m away - a small, sheltered cove with clear water that is good for paddling and snorkelling at low tide. East Looe Beach is 0.9 miles and Hannafore Point is 1.4 miles. The open-plan interior combines kitchen, dining, and sitting areas in a single ground-floor space, which keeps the layout simple for shorter stays.

WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are all included. Saturday changeover.

Millendreath village sits in a sheltered valley above the cove, about 1.9 miles east of Looe town centre. Looe itself has a working fishing quay, a weekly market, and a train line back to Liskeard. The Looe Valley Line is a draw in its own right - 8 miles of single-track railway through the wooded valley.

Best for couples or small families wanting sea views and beach access in a quiet village setting, with a dog welcome. Less good for those needing more than one bathroom or wanting to be walking distance to pubs and shops.
