Shepherds Haven Hut is a renovated shepherd's hut on Higher Trevance Farm in St Issey, sleeping 2 in one bedroom set in rolling farmland about 3 miles south-east of Padstow. The hut has been fully fitted out with a kitchenette, a bathroom, a living area with TV, and a private terrace with a hot tub and BBQ.

The farm setting provides a quiet contrast to the beaches nearby. Trevone Bay is 3.3 miles north - a sheltered sandy bay at the end of a single-track road, calm enough for swimming and with a natural rock pool. Daymer Bay is 3.4 miles, a larger crescent of sand inside the mouth of the Camel Estuary. Greenaway Beach is 3.9 miles, less visited and accessible via the coastal path from Daymer.

The Camel Trail cycling and walking route runs from Padstow to Bodmin along 18 miles of converted railway track. The Padstow end is the most popular and passes through Wadebridge. For road cyclists, the lanes around St Issey are quiet and rolling. Padstow town has over 20 restaurants and cafes, a Saturday market, and the passenger ferry across to Rock.
