The Outlook

The Outlook is a first-floor 1-bedroom apartment in the hamlet of Tregonce, near St Issey, sleeping 2. The balcony looks directly over Little Petherick Creek toward the Camel Estuary - a tidal landscape that changes with every hour of the day. Inside, a wet room, kitchenette, and open-plan living space keep the layout simple and practical.

Daymer Bay Beach is 2.4 miles away by road, a wide sandy estuary beach that is well-suited to families and paddlers rather than surfers. Trevone Bay (2.7 miles) and Greenaway Beach (2.8 miles) are close alternatives. Padstow is roughly a 20-minute walk along the traffic-free Camel Trail - the trail runs directly past the property, making it ideal for cycling guests. From Padstow harbour, a passenger ferry crosses to Rock in summer.

This apartment suits couples or solo travellers who want quiet surroundings with easy access to north Cornwall's beaches and the Padstow food scene. It works well for cyclists using the Camel Trail as a base route. Less good for guests expecting a sea view or a full kitchen - the kitchenette has limited hob space and there is no direct coastal outlook. Parking is available on site. Dogs are not accepted.

Constantine Bay, one of the best surf beaches on the north coast, is 7 miles west. Rick Stein's original Padstow restaurant is 3 miles by road.
