Shoreline is a two-bedroom bungalow on the eastern edge of Marazion, sleeping 4 with 1 bathroom. The garden and a parking space are both at the property. Dishwasher and washing machine included. Saturday changeover.

Long Rock Beach is 900m on foot - a quieter stretch of sand along the inner curve of Mount's Bay with a linear run of shoreline that works well for walking at low tide. Marazion Beach itself is 0.8 miles. St Michael's Mount - the tidal island with its castle and subtropical gardens - is visible from this part of the coast and accessible via the causeway from Marazion at low tide, or by ferry when the tide covers it.

The views from this stretch of the bay take in the full sweep from Mousehole round to the Lizard on a clear day, which gives the location a sense of scale that the property itself, as a modest bungalow, does not provide indoors.

Marazion village has a pub, a cafe, and a small selection of shops. Penzance is 2.5 miles west and has a larger range of facilities including the Penlee House gallery and ferry connections to the Isles of Scilly.

Best for couples or small families who want a low-maintenance base close to St Michael's Mount and Mount's Bay without the crowds of central Marazion or Penzance. Less good for those who want beach access without a 10-minute walk.
