Silver Shells

Silver Shells is a two-bedroom bungalow on the South West Coast Path above Boscastle on the north Cornwall coast, new for 2026. The property sleeps two and sits on Eglos View, with Boscastle harbour reachable on foot in around 15 minutes and the Willapark lookout a short walk along the coast path in the other direction.

Inside, the cottage has WiFi, an open fire in the sitting room, and a kitchen equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms and a bathroom make it a practical base for a couple; the layout is simple and straightforward rather than expansive.

A private garden and off-street parking come with the property. Bossiney Cove - a secluded sandy cove near Tintagel accessible only at low tide - is around 2 miles to the south-west. Crackington Haven, a surf beach with a steep valley approach, is about 5 miles up the coast. Boscastle village has the Napoleon Inn, the Cobweb Inn, and the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic down by the harbour. Tintagel Castle with its Arthurian associations is roughly 5 miles north.

**Best for:** Couples wanting direct coast path access from the door, a quiet base near Boscastle without needing to drive into the village for walks, and a property with an open fire for cooler months. **Less good for:** Families with children (sleeps only 2), anyone needing a second bathroom, or guests expecting sea views from the property.
