Skylarks Cottage

Skylarks Cottage is a one-bedroom, split-level cottage for two in a rural complex at East Taphouse, a village on the A390 between the market towns of Liskeard and Lostwithiel, both about 15 minutes away by car. The king-size bedroom and one bathroom suit a couple, and a wood burner gives the living space a focal point. Dogs are welcome, and the garden and barbecue provide outdoor space.

Walks start from the doorstep, and Bodmin Moor is about 10 minutes' drive north for open moorland. There is no WiFi, dishwasher, hot tub or EV charging point, so this suits guests happy to self-cater without a laptop connection. A washing machine is included for longer stays.

The nearest beaches are some distance away by car: Lansallos Beach is 6.8 miles, Talland Bay 6.9 miles and East Looe Beach 7.1 miles. Looe, Polperro and Fowey are all within a reasonable drive south, while the Dobwalls Adventure Park, with zip wires and a miniature railway, is about 3 miles east near Liskeard.
